Convenient Local Option: It’s a great little hardware store, a true hometown gem, saving you the gas and time costs associated with traveling to larger chains like Home Depot in Rhinelander. I choose this place the vast majority of the time for that reason.
Comprehensive Stock: The location offers a decent selection of typical hardware items, a good lumber and building supply yard, an expanding garden and patio section, fencing supplies, and even a few appliances. They’re also surprisingly well-stocked with paint; the color selection is outstanding.
Special Order Capabilities: If they don’t have what you need in stock, they’ll order it for you with quick turnaround times.
Clean and Organized Store: The store is consistently clean and well-organized, making your shopping experience pleasant and efficient.

Pricing: Be aware that prices are sometimes higher than at larger competitors like Home Depot. While this difference may be offset by the convenience, it’s worth considering if you’re on a tight budget. Lumber, for example, is cheaper at Do it Best in Park Falls.
